About MIPM

The MIPM Mammendorfer Institut für Physik und Medizin (MIPM) GmbH (which is German for "MIPM Mammendorf Insitute for Physics and Medicine (MIPM) GmbH") is a small company located in the village of Mammendorf on the outskirts of Munich. Since 1982, we have specialized in developing and manufacturing medical products for different niche markets within the medical device industry.

The development and manufacturing of patient monitors and syringe pumps for applications in the MRI environment are among MIPM’s core competencies. Our in-house R&D department collaborates closely with medical personnel and MRI manufacturers in order to build products that provide exactly what the market needs. MIPM develops and produces its MRI-compatible devices exclusively in Germany and sells the products worldwide.

Who we are

We are engineers, technicians and scientists working with business people, sales people and secretaries, along with customer and technical support agents as well as apprentices in administration and production. We are women and men from 16 to over 50 years of age. Currently, our average age is 37. We are open for new technologies and ideas, and you will find us to be creative and highly innovative. We are based near Munich, but we act globally.

What we want to achieve

In cooperation with our partners, we intend to build a successful future with a special focus on maintaining holistic relationships. Our partners include, of course, our customers. However, we also view or suppliers, distribution partners, banks, public institutions and local authorities as part of that group. We want to establish harmonic, mutually beneficial relationships with all of our partners. In order to reach that goal, we stick to this guiding principle:

Our many years of experience and the in-depth knowledge that we have acquired along the way focus exclusively on medical device technology. Consequently, we follow the motto that has been incorporated into our company logo:

“HOMINUM SALUTI MEDICINAM EXERCENS”

That translates to: "For the benefit of mankind, in the service of medicine."
